The door window sensor is activated when a gap occurs between the sensor and magnet.
All sensors have an anti-tamper alert.
The Door/Window Sensor can be installed on doors, windows, or virtually anything that opens and closes. During normal operation, the sensor transmits open (TRIP) and close (RESTORE) signals to the panel. The sensor also sends a supervisory signal to the panel every 64 minutes.
The sensor transmits open and close signals to the panel when a magnet (mounted near the sensor) is moved away from or closer to the sensor.
